Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, in the city of Santa Clara, is an upscale steakhouse that provides classic American cuisine in a fine-dining establishment. Local favorites include the sweet chili calamari and the dry-aged ribeye. In Los Gatos is the upscale restaurant Manresa by American chef David Kinch. Manresa has a delightful farm-to-table Chef’s Tasting Menu.

 

There is no shortage of entertainment in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. The open-air Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View regularly hosts festivals and famous bands throughout the year. Within the mountainsides of Santa Clara County, in the city of Saratoga, is the picturesque Mountain Winery. This lush vineyard hosts large outdoor concerts complete with dinner and wine. It is a large vineyard with multiple spaces available to rent for small private events or large corporate gatherings.

These South Bay counties are home to two iconic sports stadiums. The Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara is a multipurpose event space that hosts the San Francisco 49ers, who won five Super Bowl titles, and big-name concerts. In San Jose is the SAP Center, home to the San Jose Sharks hockey team. This venue also doubles as a concert arena center.

Fresh produce, live music, and artisanal goods can be found year-round at the San Mateo Farmers Market near the College of San Mateo.
